1 1/2 oz madeira
1 oz brandy
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1 tsp sweet vermouth

Pour the Madeira wine, brandy and vermouth into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well, garnish with a twist of lemon, and serve.
