Delicious brownies made with cocoa and nuts.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons evaporated milk or half-and-half
- pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
PREPARATION:
Cream butter or margarine and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add flour, cocoa, evaporated milk, salt, and vanilla; beat thoroughly. Stir in chopped nuts. Spread brownies in a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
Bake brownies at 350° for 25 minutes.
